The Laboratory Sessions is Soulfulhouse.com's club night. Started in 2000 by the Laboratory Boys - Danny D and Mark Edwards - the Laboratory Sessions hosts regular and one-off events, primarily around London and the South of England.

Laboratory Sessions are held in a variety of venues from funky local bars to major venues such as Turnmills in London and the Zap club in Brighton. Catering for an upfront main room to more chilled and soulful second rooms, the Sessions have featured guests such as Bobby and Steve as well as continually supporting outstanding upcoming DJs.

Started in summer 2003 this night just keeps getting better and better. This Camberley bar is packed every Saturday night. If you haven't made it down, do, it's the only place to be in Camberley on a Saturday night.

The Laboratory Sessions were started in November 2000 to provide Camberley in Surrey with some much needed Soulfulhouse music. They were started by DJs Danny D & Mark Edwards aka The Laboratory Boys having been regular guest DJs in the DJ Laboratory at Bobby & Steves Garage City at Bar Rumba in London since 1998.

The night soon moved from monthly to weekly as its reputation and popularity began to develop and the Laboratory Boys were joined by the other Sessions residents DJs Neil Wilkinson and Neil Carr aka AlterEgos. As the night established itself as one of the best Soulfulhouse nights in the area other guest DJs were eager to join the parties, most notably and fittingly were Garage Citys Bobby & Steve in May 2001. Other regular guests also included Jack n Daniels.

The Laboratorys first London club appearance was in August 2002 when the boys took the night to the legendary Turnmills in Farringdon to host the T3 room at MetroGroove alongside Danny Rampling in the main and Norman J in the second rooms. Two coaches of regulars came up from Camberley plus other friends from London and it was a great success. Consequently The Laboratory Sessions are set to return to Turnmills on 21st December 2002 to host the T3 room for the Christmas birthday party of CJ Macintoshs CityLoud.

In March 2001 the Laboratory Sessions hosted a one off night at Paul Farris and Jack 'n' Daniels's night 'Elements' at Pantiles night club in Bagshot, Surrey. Elements featured special guests that included Jazzy M, CJ Macintosh, Norman Jay, Bump N Hustle and Bobby and Steve to name a few

With a growing reputation and following, the Laboratory now has 8 regular DJs and musically spans right across house music with DJs playing everything from 70s and 80s influenced disco, vocal US garage, chunky filter edged house through to tough deep techy tracks for stomping dance floors. Anything goes as long as it touches the soul! .
